Kayo achieved three historic milestones at Dakar.

The 2025 Dakar Rally is set to take place as scheduled. Although PIERER Mobility AG has canceled Husqvarna and GASGAS’s participation plans, the motorcycle category remains fiercely competitive. KTM, Honda, and Hero are still strong contenders for the top spot, while Fantic, Sherco, Rieju, and Keeway continue to maintain factory-backed teams. Meanwhile, a domestic manufacturer named Hongtuo Power has also joined the racing fray.

Among them, the Ke Yue Racing Team, which has been consistently competing, is undoubtedly the one that domestic motorcycle enthusiasts should pay the most attention to.
After Zhang Xue left Keeway, there were once doubts in the outside world about whether Keeway could continue competing. However, it turned out that Keeway not only participated in the race but also made several historic milestones for Chinese motorcycles at this globally top-tier event—for instance, it has now become the second-largest motorcycle supplier on the Dakar Rally stage.

This year's Dakar Rally saw Keeway fielding 12 competing vehicles, second only to the KTM team, and surpassing established manufacturers like Honda, Fantic, and Sherco.
